Role: Associate Director, Channel Strategy – Data Driven Marketing

Location: Central London/Surrey

Contract length: 3-6 months

Day rate: £400-£500 DOE

Salt are working with a fantastic London based agency to help build out the e-commerce function of one of the largest brands in the world, and are searching for a senior contractor with a strong e-commerce analytics background to help drive their marketing plans for 2018.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to positively influence the performance of the end client’s e-ecommerce programme, by ensuring that their 2018 marketing plans are backed up by quantifiable data.

This role is to start ASAP, so immediately available candidates will be given priority.

Day to day work:

  • Be the internal strategic expert on the European E-commerce landscape and specific channel partners.
  • Lead efforts on sophisticated quantitative analyses and advanced modelling that translates analytics into actionable marketing plans.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies that solve complex business challenges and address the needs of senior internal and external stakeholders across various functions to drive incremental growth.
  • Communicate channel strategies to the European leadership team and the broader organisation by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways.
  • Work with European Data Driven Marketing team, local channel planners, local client teams to push projects forward, driving recommendations through to implementation.

Background:

  • Effective project management, presentation and written communications skills.
  • Distinctive problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities.
  • Effective business judgment, along with a natural inclination to formulate hypotheses, design tests, and use problem-solving techniques to evaluate solutions.
  • Experience working with high-growth technology clients, with the ability to manage ambitious strategic operationally complex projects with cross-functional teams.
