This iconic High Street retailer, who are embarking on a journey to significantly grow their global digital offering, are on the hunt for a new Category Trade Manager, to join their team in Central London.

Supporting the Global Ecommerce Trade Manager, and working closely with a team of Category Managers, this role will work to maximise the sales & profit across a specific set of categories, and will do so by providing insight and actions to add value and improve profitability.

This role is focused on two key propositions – Planning & Trading.

Planning – The Category Manager will establish specific targets across all online channels for all departments, work closely with key stakeholders across the business (from finance through to logistics…and everything in between) to ensure targets are delivered, and will offer constant insight into the risks and opportunities posed to all departments.

Trading – Overseeing two Assistant Trade Mangers, the Category Manager will identify both short & long term opportunities to drive performance online, analyse overall performance, forecasting and online opportunities with constant reviewal throughout the lifecycle.

Given that this role works in collaboration with numerous departments within the business, including senior stakeholders, superior communication skills are of the essence in order to succeed. Further to this, organisation, a proactive nature and natural desire to succeed are imperative. The working environment is dynamic and fun, and incredibly fast-paced – a demonstrated ability to multitask is key.
