Customer Experience Lead

My client, a world-renowned retailer, who specialises in high-end and luxury, is on the hunt for a Customer Experience Lead to join their digital team and help drive their team and deliver against their road map for 2019.

This is an initial 3-month contract to begin, but could easily roll-on. This will be based in London and candidates will need to be available to start ideally straight away.

The role

This Customer Experience Lead will help my client during an important time after a big company restructure. The Customer Experience Lead will help manage a talent team of Product, Marketing, eCommerce, UX and Digital specialists who are focussed on delivering a customer-centric approach and overall excellence when it comes to digital and eCommerce.

What a successful candidate looks like?

The ideal candidate my client is looking for is one who has customer experience at the heart of everything they do. They will also be very experienced in the fundamentals of this role, including eCommerce, UX, product ownership and digital transformation.

This person will also need to a strong level of gravitas and excellent soft skills. The team is highly capable, but need leadership during this important transformation period. The ideal candidate will be able to always look forward and think two steps ahead of the team.

The type of projects the team are working on focusses on their eCommerce and customer experience, and across all the imporant touchpoints, including shopping, checkout, and fulfillment.

Experience managing agencies and third-party suppliers will also be important in the success of this person in the role.
