I’m working with this lovely business who are pivoting to a digital first approach. This means there is an exciting opportunity to be the digital expert and really own/drive their strategy. You’d be the first person in the team so it will be hands on with BAU, but you will own the strategy and long term your team will grow. Really nice culture, flex working 3 times a week and not too far out of Leicester.

The Role

This will sit with the Head of Merchandising and will own the full online strategy and BAU. You will:

• Drive ecommerce trade and merchandising strategy across the site.
• Handle daily BAU – product management, optimisation, customer journey etc.
• Be the digital expert – advising and challenging stakeholders on strategy and plans.
• Own all analysis and reporting – using this to make performance improvements.
• Evolve digital strategy along with the company vision for the future.

You

This role needs someone who is ready and able to be the sole digital expert, with both strategic and hands on capability. You need:

• Proven track record in driving ecommerce trade and merchandising – delivering growth.
• Experience in an apparel or retail business.
• Data driven and confident in translating this into actionable insights.
• Experience in financial planning and forecasting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, problem solver and risk taker – not afraid to try new things.
