I am working with a pet food company on its digital journey. This is a company that has a huge growth trajectory and a clear niche in the market which has led them to be award-winning for three consecutive years.

As part of their growth plans they are looking to hire a Digital Trading Executive in a brand new role to the business. In this role you would report into the Senior Digital Trading Manager and sit in a Digital team of 8 people. You will be responsible for driving sales via their e-commerce web platform, which equates for 50% of their sales, to help optimise untapped commercial opportunities.

The role:

• Execute a merchandising strategy across the website to ensure the best functionality for both mobile and desktop.
• Review how products are displayed to optimize cross selling opportunities.
• Be responsible for auditing the standards of the site, ensuring clear product descriptions.
• Work cross-functionally with the Customer Service team to improve customer onsite journey and help address any concerns.
• Be responsible for the onsite execution of promotions, ensuring they are accurate executed with correct banners.
• Analyse performance of campaigns and provide feedback on opportunities and threats.
• Work with the ops and fulfillment agency to ensure KPIs and stock levels are being effectively managed.
• Conduct regular site walks of the site and competitors.
• Review customer reviews to identify and areas of improvement.

To be considered, candidates must possess:

• Experience in an Ecommerce or a Commercial role (Merchandising/Buying)
• Analytical mindset, with an inquisitive mindset.
• Hungry and driven.
• Organized and efficient.
