eCommerce Manager

Greater London Contract / 3 Months £250.00 - £400.00 per day

The role of the E-Commerce Supervisor is to provide support to the eCommerce Experience Manager to drive the e-commerce channel strategy/audience engagement across our digital owned media.

This is great opportunity to get in with an exciting start-up within a larger corporate company to help drive their eCommerce agenda on an initial interim basis that could extend long-term. The initial contract will be 3-months but most likely will extend to the end of the year.

Working in partnership with the other members of the digital team you will support them in delivering the programmes of work and projects as defined in the owned media activation plan.

Reporting to the eCommerce Experience Manager your day-to-day responsibilities include the following:

  • Enhancing and maintaining the owned digital media platforms, assets and content.
  • You will be expected to take ownership of the successful delivery of the product work streams. Working with other functions (including Customer Care) to support the creation of product content. You will be expected to report on successes and challenges.
  • Provide programme / project status reports, enabling the eCommerce Experience team to deliver key project and product launches.
  • Support delivery of a successful on page eCommerce experience which includes working with supply chain, finance and fulfilment in order to delivery best in class customer experiences. Reports to the Manager eCommerce Experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE
 Proven record of delivering digital projects
 Solid understanding of e-commerce principles
 Good level of experience with web-based technologies
 Demonstrable experience of working with a team of digital practitioners.
 Strong attention to detail, specifically aligning evolution plans with timings and deliverables
 Some knowledge of website analytics tools
 Working knowledge of internet technologies including Google Analytics
 Some knowledge of A/B multi-variant testing
 Up to date with the latest trends and best practice in eCommerce and online product

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES
 Coordinate monthly evolution plans for the .COM platform
 Manage product listing and ensure alignment across all channels
 Working with the rest of the team help drive online conversions
 Supervision of the Amazon channel, including management of product catalogue, maintaining content, and finding solutions to challenges
 Aligning departmental objectives with the need to drive conversion
 Consistently look for opportunities to improve the product category and make recommendations
 Manage and maintain accurate budget records
 With the support and guidance of the eCommerce Experience Manager maintain the owned media project calendar
 Collaborate with colleagues across the function to maintain and update product assets when/where required
 Responsible for web store accuracy including product information, imagery and categorisation
 Maintain the optimisation of product recommendations to increase sales through cross-sell/up-sell
 Support the team with administration of promotions and discount codes and communicate these to the wider digital team
 Helping to test new functionality on site and feeding this back to the respective teams
 Daily/regular site walks to discover any errors and mistakes, and ensure swift corre
