My client, a unique and luxurious jewellery and homewares brand, with stores all over the world, are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to join their close-knit team, based in Chelsea.

Responsible for the overall management, analysis and reporting on all online activities, the Ecommerce Manager will work to drive online sales, build long-term strategies which will enhance the customer journey online, and create and execute the brands promotional calendar. This is a great opportunity for a determined and technically savvy ecommerce professional, with a passion for luxury and the customer experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Website Management – Ensuring that the window to the brands world is always immaculately presented and an appropriate reflection of the business, the visual merchandising of the products online, and movement of these according to the brands promotional focus, seasonal variance and experimentation, and reporting on monthly key actions and observations.

Sales – Creating a strategy for online sales growth, all while setting KPIs and reporting on these figures monthly, as well as identifying and implementing a strategy to increase traffic growth and conversion rates.

Digital Calendar – Creating the digital marketing calendar in line with both the retail and production calendar, while also creating a database of content for the digital marketing calendar that is easily accessible to other teams. In addition, assisting in developing a clear strategy to maximise social media plans and activity.

Advertising – Understand and review the current digital advertising position, all while managing PPC, Adwords, Google Shopping, remarketing, etc.

Email Marketing – Manage the email marketing initiatives and MailChimp platform, all while growing the email database.

Shopify & CRM – Ultimately responsible for the management of the Shopify platform, also identifying a practical and useful CRM.

Reports & Administration – The acquisition and delivery of key online data and insight in weekly and monthly trade reports.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability of strategic planning and commercial marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in website management and ecommerce usability, with past experience of Shopify
  • Online marketing experience – affiliate marketing, SEM and SEO concepts and strategies, campaign management, email marketing, social media, display advertising, Google and Facebook ads, etc.
  • IT proficient and technical understanding of website technology and social media
