eCommerce Manager

My client is a leading beauty business with a global reach across cosmetics. The position will primarily be reporting directly to the Head of Digital, this role will be focused on driving sales globally through their website and eRetail partners in line with the brand vision and strategy. Support implementation of digital marketing activity through CRM, SEM, Social Advertising & Affiliates. Provide ongoing analysis of the business to identify, understand and implement areas of opportunity to drive the business forward and deliver a best-in-class user experience.

Role:

  • Help develop ecommerce activity plan and website updates, working collaboratively to ensure all assets are briefed, approved and implemented on time.
  • Monitor online sales to ensure weekly/monthly KPIs are achieved, and plan in additional activity to drive the business as required to support this.
  • Manage day-to-day website merchandising & promotion implementation.
  • Support upcoming website re-platform.
  • Oversee dev release process from prioritising bugs to testing and approval of each release.
  • Refine Customer User Journey (UX) across multiple devices and campaigns to increase conversion to sales and reduce bounce rates.
  • Support eretail accounts – provide timely assets/copy and liaise closely with retail partners for opportunities to drive additional revenue.
  • Manage timely implementation of new product launches and website enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development of the digital marketing plan for the UK web business.
  • Work closely with external digital agencies to plan activity and ensure timely implementation.
  • Liaise with affiliate agency and support new revenue-driving opportunities.
  • Develop, test & deploy email strategy. Analyse, update and communicate performance report.
  • Provide support as required to ensure the brand is represented appropriately with Digital Advertising agency to maximise brand awareness and online sales.
  • Identify new opportunities and partnerships that will add value to the business and develop proposals to get approved and implemented.

Requirements:

  • Experience in implementation of ecommerce sales and marketing strategies
  • Experience of the website design and production process in order to monitor/maintain site development and local content.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Team player who can evidence collaborative working inside and outside function.
  • Able to manage time effectively, have excellent organisational skills and work well with contractors/partners.
  • Strong awareness of online brand representation and messaging and representation and messaging
