eCommerce Product Manager

My client, a leading consumer business, is on the hunt for am eCommerce Product Manager to support my client take new products from concept to launch on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Deliveroo, etc.

The ideal candidate will be an eCommerce and product development and management specialist. Ideally you will have experience have experience launching and driving the growth of new products online direct-to-consumer.

You will need to have experience leading small agile teams, but most importantly you will need to be able to identify opportunities and solve problems when they arise.

This is a brand new ambitious unit aimed at transforming a traditional portfolio for ecommerce. You will help figure out the best way to launch a new product portfolio on platforms such as Amazon and how to shape the content, marketing, tech, etc. You will need to be hands-on and unafraid to get your hands dirty. You will be on the tools in this role.

This role and the unit is very high visibility, so my client is looking for an all-rounder who can come in and run multiple workstreams and take this to a new level.

The right candidate to me is someone with a start-up mindset, knows about Amazon, FMCG, and digital marketing.

They will need to be able to run a cross-functional team (supply chain experts, R&D, marketers, Amazon account managers and so on) tasked with getting new innovations to market and at the same time running the current UK amazon business.

Roles and responsibilities

• Drive the creation of new innovative e-commerce products : Reporting to the Digital and Commercial Director, the Ecommerce New Product Development Lead will drive the creation of a new e-commerce portfolio for an entire consumer division
• Own the consumer experience end to end : Leading a cross-functional team, using insights to identify and validate frictions, ideating new product innovations and then rapidly designing, building and launching new products on DTC and pure play channels in a pilot market
• Coordinate the efforts of experts to deliver impact at pace : Working with experts in data, supply chain, R&D, marketing, content and technology to deliver digital-first consumer products e2e to transform e-commerce for the consumer division

• 6-month contract
• Outside IR35
• Day rate DOE (circa 550-750 GBP a day)
• London based
• Remote start
