Ecommerce Transformation Manager

Greater London Contract / 6 Months £40000.00 - £45000.00 per annum + (Pro-rated FTC)

Salt’s client, a leading Luxury Fashion Retailer are looking for a talented and dynamic eCommerce Transformation Manager to join their digital team on an asap starting contract at a critical point for eCommerce growth within their business. This is a 6 month initial FTC with the potential for permanency if of interest.

In this role, you will be solely responsible for the execution and delivery of digital projects to meet high eCommerce targets. These key strategic projects will support in driving growth, full site UX review with test and learn development plan, website performance optimisation, global omni-channel acceleration and multi-channel re-platforming. The successful candidate will bring in depth digital knowledge and expertise to drive these eCommerce focused projects forward – challenging both internal stakeholders and external agencies.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Hold ownership of UX site project, managing external partners, planning testing, platform integration, reporting and analysing results.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of the digital development roadmap.
  • Consistently carry out testing, release & validation of new website functionalities.
  • Oversee the onsite behavioural and performance KPI’s including site speed, bounce rate and checkout flow, producing dashboards, analysis and actions.
  • Utilise website tracking tools including GA, hotjar, optimizley.
  • Drive global omni-channel initiatives to deliver commercial goals and increase digital penetration.
  • Project manage multi-channel re-platforming project for China market partnering closely with local digital team.
  • Coordinate technical SEO topics with the agency and partner with digital team to deliver on-site SEO requirements.
  • Manage global website bugs, raising and tracking tickets for and pushing for resolutions.
  • Effectively bring innovative developments to both on page functions and operational flows within the digital function.
  • Work closely and collaboratively across various internal teams and also with external partners.
  • Manage the budget for all digital projects

Key Role Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape
  • Strong Project Management skills (Agile preferred)
  • Understanding of WordPress or similar and hold the ability and desire to master new digital tools & platforms
  • Previous experience using and analysis via Google Analytics
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills and hold confident communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong interest in ecommerce and digital
  • Possess highly efficient project management skills
  • Ability to lead projects and teams
  • Can prioritise and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in communicating with different teams, varying levels of stakeholders & different styles and translate technical projects to non-technical teams
