Marketplace Development Manager

Europe Permanent £65000.00 - £75000.00 per annum + bonus + remote working

I am working with a much loved and quintessentially British FMCG brand, as they look to on-board a Marketplace Development Manager.

Working with teams across digital, buying, technology and commercial, the Marketplace Development Manager will be responsible for the identification, on-boarding and management of marketplace vendors. While lead generation and seller acquisition play a pivotal part in this role, it goes without saying that candidates with marketplace experience (Amazon, Zalando, Ebay, etc.), would be of huge appeal here.

This very exciting and very rare opportunity encompassing elements of category management, business development and technical understanding. Covering marketplace and vendor operations, digital go-to-market strategy and product forecasting and optimization, it is crucial that candidates have a solid understanding of the full ecommerce ecosystem.

A people-centric opportunity that involves project management and interaction with numerous internal and external teams, requires a confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management and influencing ability.
