My client is a leading sportswear brand known for their cutting edge design and global presence. They are now looking for a strong Site Merchandiser to combine trading, visual merchandising and content to drive both their own eCommerce platform and work with 3rd party suppliers.

The Role:

  • Establish site merchandise processes, ensuring it can adapt to seasonal differences and different promotions and build out optimisation.
  • Demonstrates views on current key trade activity that potentially impacts the customer and brands
  • Map out and execute the optimization strategy and customer experience, ensuring it drives incremental growth across the ranges.
  • Manage two direct reports and ensure the team as a whole has a consolidated vision and focus within optimisation areas.
  • Delivery of a cohesive Product Strategy, identifying commercial and seasonal opportunities, whilst maintaining a strong brand representation online
  • Using data analysis to identify and prioritise major sales drivers and highlight deficiencies such as availability and sizing issues
  • Product – reporting and planning Brand and category performance, help shape range with Brand teams through SWOT and EOS analysis
  • Define product range optimisation strategy based on consumer demand, and establish Site Merch & Buyer process for flagging these topics.
  • Drive sell-thru through ongoing improvements
  • Work with analytics to ensure optimization decisions and ongoing improvements can be tracked and validated on an ongoing basis – each experience pillar should have standardized reports as a reference on progress and opportunity
