What you’ll be doing

The Assistant PR Manager will support the development and delivery of our European PR strategy across our B2B proposition..

This is a diverse role, including press office management, strategic news generation, media relations and leading on our events and awards strategy across our European markets.

In more detail:

• You will have a brilliant understanding of the media landscape within the financial services sector and be able to identify press opportunities and the key moments we should be capitalizing on
• You will be a strong writer, developing compelling written content for PR purposes including press releases, award entries, Q&As, media briefings, and media alerts
• You will have a strong attention to detail and will be responsible for reviewing and giving strategic direction on content produced by our external agency partners including press releases, media alerts, proactive and reactive commentary and media briefings
• You will need to be a strategic forward planner with great time management skills, working in collaboration with our PR and content agencies across all markets; namely UK and Netherlands.

What you’ll need

• You’ll need the ability to think creatively, push boundaries and be extremely enthusiastic about the work you do
• You will have 3 years’ experience working in a PR role, ideally within the financial services sector, or other regulated sectors in a B2B capacity
• You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment which would require flexibility and the ability to dive in and out of execution and strategy
• Evidence of developing and implementing strategic media relations plans – having dealt directly with high profile journalists in a busy press office or agency environment
• You will have a track record of achieving significant PR impact and share of voice within integrated campaigns and with one off tactical/reactive PR
