Communications Officer

Marcomms Manager (Part-Time – 3 Days) – London – up to £35K Pro Rata

THE COMPANY
My client is one of the largest property companies in London; located in Paddington and with 900 people in their office; with a current member of staff wishing to go part-time, therefore this job share has become available.

THE ROLE
The role will be to promote a professional and positive image of the brand through a delivery of a range of communication activities.

• Contribute to the development and delivery of annual communications plans, under the supervision of Communications Managers
• Manage and proactively deliver communications projects and day-to-day requests from client departments.
• Implement the effective use of a range of marketing tools, channels and techniques include publications, direct mail, HTML emails, texts/SMS, advertising, campaigns, events, media relations, film, social media and merchandise, as appropriate.
• Provide a creative design and multi-media production service, offering advice and solutions to meet briefs.
• Provide a copywriting, proofreading, editing and print production service, offering advice and liaising with suppliers.
• Research and maintain accurate content for staff, customer and business information, and publish across offline and online platforms

• Promote and monitor the Group’s corporate identity, providing brand assets and advising on their use to ensure consistency.
• Improve the Group’s communications with customers, staff and business partners, measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of activities, undertaking regular reviews, and developing new approaches.
• Develop and maintain the team’s tools, systems and processes, ensuring adherence to communications guidelines, best practice and legal requirements.

Please ONLY apply if you possess the following:

• At least 2-3 years’ experience of working in a busy communications, PR or marketing environment within a large organisation
• Experience of managing projects using a range of tools and tactics, including: Campaigns, Creative design, Direct mail, Email marketing, Media relations, Publications, Social media and Website/intranet
• Good copywriting, editing, proofreading skills for different audiences and online/offline purposes
• Good desktop design and brand management skills, using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Good email marketing production and evaluation skills, using email service providers (such as Click Dimensions) and Google Analytics.
