Digital Marketing Manager (6-Month FTC)

Hampshire Contract Up to £40000 per annum

Salt has partnered with a niche regulated membership body that is part of the European Boating Industry. This complex environment will allow you to work with several different membership groups, clubs and international organisations. You will report into the Head of Digital. You will lead a small team and will have full ownership for their performance and development. This is an established business who is eager to refresh their way of working and bring their processes into the modern age. You need to gain a lot of trust and buy in from the wider business so being a confident influencer comes as second nature to you.

With a focus on digital communication channel development, the role will primarily involve working across the company’s social media and communication channels to help increase the online footprint, profile, enquiry levels and customer journey. Additionally, they are also developing their internal customer communication channels and this role will support our aim to improve the way we reach and communicate with new and existing clients through our website, email and social channels.

The client is seeking someone creative, passionate about their work, hardworking and ready for a challenge. Marketing experience, skills and knowledge is essential, as is the ability to work across multiple projects and manage colleagues and peers effectively. While you will specialise in the digital side of marketing, there will be crossover with other projects within the marketing and creative team, and the opportunity to get involved in the broader marketing effort and to link in with the wider group marketing effort.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning, creating, scheduling, and reporting on social media campaigns
  • Growing social media engagement through Linkedin, Twitter, You Tube and more
  • Support lead nurturing and lead generation with media campaigns that support the customer journey and marketing strategy
  • Reviewing analytics to help make innovative recommendations and suggestions
  • Identifying new and emerging social media platforms for consideration
  • Utilising Google Analytics to identify engagement and what is working
  • Coordinating email campaigns for prospects and customers
  • Reviewing email campaign analytics and making recommendations and suggestions
  • Website content updates to keep our information fresh and dynamic
  • Working to increase engagement and integration across channels
  • Lead and develop a team of two executives
  • Influence the wider business to adopt to change and trust you to lead them on all things digital marketing.

EXPERIENCE:

  • You will have exceptional attention to detail and good organisations skills
  • Creative copywriting skills would be hugely beneficial
  • A minimum of 5 years digital marketing experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience of using social media management tools and platforms
  • Experience of using CRM platforms
  • SEO, WordPress CMS and PPC search advertising campaign experience is an advantage
  • An awareness of digital marketing trends and best practice
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • The ability to use own initiative and deliver projects to tight timescales as well as taking a creative and innovative approach.
