Head of Brand Communications and Strategy – Retail – London

Salt is partnered with an iconic British and multinational retail FTSE 100 company who are embarking on a large digital transformation project.

The Role

As the Head of Brand Communications and Strategy, you will be apart of the Customer, Brand and Communications team, a function which focuses on delivering customer excellence and building on their already impressive reputation. Your focus will be on the global implementation of all communications across all channels, by providing daily management of external agencies and internal stakeholders, including C-Suite personnel and as a result, will require someone with lots of gravitas.

Responsibilities

• Own the campaign strategy and planning, managing cross-functional strategic alignment to achieve successful campaign delivery
• Daily management of agencies, ensuring they deliver on time and within budget – tracking their deliverables and ensuring a positive ROI
• Lead project delivery teams on cross-functional campaigns
• Define objectives and be accountable for project plans and delivery
• Define creative & media strategy and provide leadership to support agencies

Experience/Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing global marketing communications and campaigns, either agency or client-side
• Proven ability to successfully create and deliver multi-market creative executions in large organisations
• Extensive experience in delivering targeted and successful media strategies
• Ability to drive world-class creativity and manage creative talent
• Ability to turn creative thinking into commercially driven campaigns
