You’ll report into the CMO, and the team is 100 strong, dedicated and hard working individuals. You will lead product marketing and channel marketing team to deliver an effective plan that supports ambitious volume, revenue and brand equity targets, take full responsibility for a multi-million pound marketing budget including ROI, campaign evaluations and collating results. You will grow sales, revenue, brand love and purchase intent in the UK. This requires collaboration with other divisions to drive consistent, best in class solutions.

Key Deliverables:

  • Lead and deliver the 2019 and 2020 marketing plan: to recruit and retain consumers to drive volume, revenue, premium market share and brand love in. This role has specific responsibility for brand and channel marketing and includes developing plans (strategies, content and messaging) that are deployed in retail and online by the retail operations and digital teams.
  • Manage and measure impact of marketing investment to maximise results and to determine optimum investment. Work closely with finance partners to ensure process and procurement work to the benefit of the marketing agenda. Make the case for appropriate levels of marketing investment based on data/ROI. This requires an on-going focus on marketing results and business performance.
  • Lead local ‘culturally relevant’ content/campaigns
  • Partner with our sales, Centres of Excellence, PR/social, media, insight, CX and digital teams to ensure all touch points deliver against marketing objectives.
  • Deliver a plan to improve the consumer experience pre- and post-purchase: delivering excellent path to purchase, on-boarding and in-life plans to make consumers proud to own so that they become our best advocates.
  • Create successful promotions/propositions that build the brand and drive purchase, working closely with the Product Management and Finance teams to ensure any propositions or promotions are commercially viable and are fully supported by customers.
  • Lead the culture internally to be consumer-focused first (and not internally focused) and create a collaborative, positively challenging, commercially-astute environment.
  • Develop excellent relations and understanding of operation European marketing teams and customers.
  • Interface and own relationships with senior customer counterparts and drive win-win solutions. Develop and influence channel relationship building to C-suite level with all partners.
  • Act as a real thought leader, driving change and implement new ways of working and thinking.
