Internal Communications & Engagement (Contract)

I am currently working with a fantastic design, fashion & lifestyle company who are looking to add an Internal Communications and Content Freelancer / External hire to their busy teams.

To help us ensure design, planning and excellent execution of digital sales and information events, forums and channels. You must have expertise and services in the fields of change management (people side of change), especially around digital team collaboration and communication to enable highly effective, informed and connected teams across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan and execute virtual weekly, monthly and one-off team engagement activities, sessions and events in order to foster team engagement, transparency and building a strong team culture
  • Plan and execute Weekly All-Hands meetings including coaching of each facilitator (different team member every week) to moderate with excellence and in an engaging way
  • Design, plan and execute other digital collaboration formats that help us reach our Team Effectiveness & Transformation ambition and 2021 objectives
  • Ensure we are represented adequately in forums and channels outside of Digital Sales Solutions
  • Coach teams on effective collaboration & communication in order for them execute effective, efficient and engaging workshops and other virtual meetings
  • Coach teams on how to best setup virtual meetings, events or workshops and/or take over the design and technical setup entirely as requested by the teams
  • Document designed and signed off upskilling, communication, training and other material via preferred tools/channels
  • Manage technical setup of existing Team SharePoint including navigation, site pages, permissions, embedding of content (e.g. videos, Smartsheet sheets, lists), tiles on landing and other pages, news articles, events, page layout, visuals)
  • Constantly research and stay up to speed on latest O365 suite of products and upskill our teams where needed in order to enable our teams to collaborate in a highly effective manner and get the most out of our tool suite
  • Maintain expert knowledge on latest digital collaboration tools and features (focus on O365 suite), design best usage of them for the team and upskill all team members on how to effectively work with these tools
  • Develop Meeting, Presentation & Workshop standards, upskill all teams & create & communicate repository

Skills & Experiences

  • Expert user of Microsoft Office suite of products especially Teams, Stream, Forms, Powerpoint, SharePoint Online, Yammer;
  • Fast learning and adopting new technologies;
  • Proven ability to work with executive level and team members likewise – in a fast paced and complex environment.
  • Advanced organisational skills and experience with planning virtual events
  • Minimum basic Photoshop skills are and advantage
  • Advanced in English
  • At least 3 years of work experience in field
