PR & Communications Manager – up to £40K – London

My client is a leading technology brand with over 20 offices globally. They specialise in programmatic advertising and website optimisation and delivery a range of solutions through one platform.

Working alongside the brand’s international communications team, this role is responsible for the regionalisation and implementation of the company’s PR and media relations strategy in 18 international markets, strengthening corporate positioning by placing effective media coverage in key industry media outlets, and driving commercial interest in their product stack by placing comms in key vertical press.

Public Relations

  • Cultivating relationships with key journalists and influencers in the advertising and marketing sectors to position corporate brand effectively
  • Help drive commercial interest in the brand’s solutions by placing effective coverage in key verticals such as retail, travel and iGaming
  • Help regionalise PR campaigns across company’s 18 markets to build our reputation globally
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure all comms campaigns/activities are integrated and achieve maximum ROI for the business
  • Writing and sending press releases and thought leadership editorial
  • Management of any inbound media enquiries

Social Media

  • Coordinate with part-time social media resource to help manage social media accounts such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
  • Plan content and delivery and use tools like Hootsuite and Asana to manage multiple social media channels
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions

Internal communication

  • Form close relationships with internal stakeholders to source business, product and commercial stories relevant for the company’s 450+ staff
  • Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a the brand’s Info Portal, monthly newsletter or regular video update.


  • At least 4 years in-house PR and/or journalistic experience;
  • B2B communications/PR experience;
  • Someone who has worked in at least one of the following: marketing, advertising, ecommerce, technology;
  • Someone who has shown and can prove they’ve acted on their own initiative to land tangible PR results i.e. press coverage, built relationships with press, delivered on a PR campaign, etc;
  • Speak one European language, preferably Spanish, Portuguese, German, or French;
  • Personality qualities: Creative, confident, dependable, positive attitude, self-reliant and able to act on their own initiative.
