Surrey Contract / 6 Months £130 - £150 per day

The Client:

My Client, a hugely successful, global retail client is looking for a Junior Marketing Manger on an ongoing requirement. The purpose of the Role would be to support the marketing team in delivering successful marketing activities.

This will include managing campaigns and the distribution of campaign assets to internal and external partners to ensure that campaigns are run smoothly. You will also assist in making sure the creative is consistent in order to build a strong brand message.

You will help manage a multi-million pound marketing budget and collaborating with stakeholders across the business, keeping the consumer at the heart of everything they do.

The role:

  • Manage creative assets and ensure that all partners eg agencies, customer marketing and retailers have the assets they need in time to deliver campaign success
  • Manage competitor and market tracking, working with the wider team. Keep up to date with market trends and update the team regularly
  • Manage customer marketing propositions for campaigns and product launches, in partnership with the customer marketing team. This is an important part of their go-to-market strategy, working with customer marketing to ensure each retailer has the right plan to support Samsung instore
  • Support the marketing team to deliver ‘bold and brilliant’ marketing activities for flagship launches as well as ‘always on’ activities that deliver against marketing objectives including CRM and digital communication
  • Work closely with the marketing operations manager and finance to ensure smooth running of the marketing budget, raising campaign lines, PPs and POs via the correct process
  • Evaluate marketing activities to track performance and foster a spirit of continual learning and improvement within the wider marketing team
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues, in other teams to drive a One agenda and leverage cross-category opportunities

To be successful in this role you ideally have:

  • Experience in brand marketing in technology, FMCG, entertainment or an agency role
  • Contributed to delivering successful marketing campaigns and/or product launches
  • Shown initiative
  • Passion for branding and communications
  • An eye for what’s current and new
  • Curiosity and a desire to be part of a team that creates brilliant marketing
