Marketing Associate

Greater London Contract / 2Months Rolling £190.00 - £215.00 per day

Salt’s client a Publishing and Exhibitions powerhouse is looking for a driven and ambitious Marketing Associate to join their VIP team focused on building and fostering relationships with their target client base in preparation for a number of exciting physical, virtual and hybrid company events.

Your role will support the team in generating more client registrations, building out a comprehensive database of key attendee’s, work to secure the attendance of high-ranking executives of target clients and facilitate in the planning, organisation and delivery of meetings and introductions of these prospective clients to exhibitors and sponsors.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate via telephone, email, LinkedIn and other relevant channels to past, current and potential new customers
  • Build relationships, understand customer knowledge, needs and business issues and induce them to attend these key events
  • Gain confirmation and ensure attendance in an efficient and effective manner in order to meet attendee targets and deliver on-site
  • Support in the building of sustainable long-term two-way relationships with various targeted departments and individuals within targeted companies
  • Identify target individuals throughout your review of these enterprise companies and secure their attendance at company events with as many relevant colleagues as possible
  • Help in the arrangement and scheduling of both face-to-face and virtual meetings
  • Build a comprehensive database of key individuals within target operators and feed this out to the wider team
  • Exciting opportunities to attend each of these Physical or Hybrid events where required and act as an effective ambassador and networking facilitator
  • To work closely with sales and research teams and research to feedback intelligence gained from client feedback
  • Support in collecting as much contact information as possible, in a comprehensive database, to widen the breadth and depth of client knowledge
  • Effectively up-hold the standards of customer service and respond professionally, diligently and in a timely manner to all customer requests

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong organisation skills and ability to multi-task
  • You must be a Confident Communicator with stakeholders of varying levels of company hierarchy incl. C-level executives
  • Experience with using Microsoft Excel and any notable ESP will be advantageous
  • Focused on delivering the utmost level of customer service to clients
  • Possess a demeanor of persuasiveness, tenacity, and enthusiasm
  • A target-driven focus
  • Experienced in building new and long-term relationships with global clients
  • Able to demonstrate success in building and developing key accounts
