Marketing Communications Manager – Healthcare

My client, a leading healthcare and tech company, is on the hunt for a Marketing Communications Manager to look after internal clients, agency partners and deliver the Groups marketing strategy. This role will require healthcare experience and at least 5-7 years experience in a MarComms role.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the preparation of the marketing related project deliverables, managing internal clients, agency partners and working under the direction of the CMO to deliver the Groups marketing strategy.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Relationships and Internal Clients. Agencies & Business Partners

  • Supports the CMO in delivering and monitoring of progress against the Group Marketing strategy & plan.
  • Acts as key point of contact for day to day liaison with agency partners. (advertisng, PR, media etc..)
  • Builds strong partnerships with other marketing resources and internal country leaders to ensure marketing objectives are met.
  • Acts as marketing support to country leaders in new markets (US/EU).

Brand planning & marketing management

  • Inputs into and supports production of marketing plans and initiatives under guidance of the CMO and senior leadership team
  • Ensures that all plans are actioned in-line with objectives, agreed timelines and budgets
  • Supports capture of information and development of regular reports for the UK senior leadership team and Exec board.
  • Contributes to the development of a project timelines and budget
  • Supports the CMO with internal communications regarding progress and updates to teams globally
  • Keeps a close eye on all costs and shares regular updates with the CMO.
  • Establishes processes for ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to globally.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree and solid marketing experience in the health-care industry ideally in health tech.
  • Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders and capturing insight from stakeholders for inclusion in planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and superior communication skills and an ability to exercise good judgement and diplomacy are essential.
  • The capability to address complex strategic marketing problems and propose viable solutions is necessary.
  • The ability to create internal marketing presentations and plans.
  • Strong background in working with agencies and experience of implementing and managing integrated marketing programmes and how they use new digital channels and approaches can be applied to health tech brands is essential. e.g. social, mobile, etc…
