Marketing Executive

I’m currently working with a retail client that specises in electrical test equipment. They are the market leader in safe isolation where our products keep workers and maintenance teams safe when working on or near electrical equipment. They are looking for a temporary Marketing Assistant / Marketing Executive to join a multi-skilled marketing team implementing B2B marketing campaigns and channel marketing initiatives for our established brand.

Objective: To increase availability, awareness and brand preference for new and existing products in online and specialist distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Optimise the product portfolio by channel and ensure listings are up to date
• Launch new products into national web and catalogue channels
• Develop joint marketing campaigns with national distributors
• Manage online profile listings for trade publications, directories and exhibitions
• Report and provide appropriate analysis of online activity

Accountabilities

• Inclusion of a minimum of 75 core products with top online platforms
• Swift phase in / phase out for new and replacement listings
• Amazon A+ content layouts for new products
• Adoption of Martindale content by web and specialist distributors in joint marcom initiatives

Project related activities

In addition to the main responsibilities above, the position involves implementing content and email campaigns in well defined market segments, lead generation and market research.

Person requirements

• Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a marketing or business related discipline
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional working experience within a marketing or product management environment.
• Organised and detail orientated.
• Experience working with and supporting B2B web and catalogue vendors ideal
• MS Office skills essential, InDesign and Photoshop skills desirable
