Marketing Manager

Greater London Contract / 3 Months £200.00 - £300.00 per day

Key Focus

The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for driving revenue through brand activity & media sales. In addition, the Marketing Manager will lead all marketing programmes & communications that establish this new destination.

The role scope is broken down into 3 keys areas:

1). Media Sales & Partnerships (60% of role)

This role is responsible for realising media sales targets and will lead in creating, recruiting and driving partnerships, contributing towards the commercial targets for the space.

2). Category Marketing activity (30% of role)

This role will oversee the budget, planning and execution of all marketing activity for this category, ensuring involvement of all relevant stakeholders within the organisation. This will involve working cross functionally with other teams such as retail teams, Events, Marketing, Creative, Communications, Digital and external agencies/partnerships. A primary relationship for this role to maintain and nourish is with a key external partner.

3). CRM Activity & Acquisition (10% of role)

This role will assist & support the CRM Team’s objective of expanding our customer base. In order to realise this, it is essential for close cooperation with the Retail Ops & CRM Teams to monitor & track performance as well as identify ways in which to drive it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue via Advertising Sales & Partnerships
  • Create, Recruit & Manage these revenue driving Partnerships
  • Log, track & analyse the performance of revenue generated
  • Responsible for media sales (other revenue) target deliveries & monitoring the Category Marketing revenue performance
  • Create, implement and oversee marketing plans, working closely with the CRM, PR & Events team and communication channel owners.
  • Own & Manage this new destination as a category within in the business
  • Manage the financial budget for this category. Raise purchase orders and assist with budget administration.
  • Work closely with the Multimedia Creative team on guidelines & specifications for on advertising and approval processes
  • Build own relationships with key counterparts and stakeholders in store and at head office within Marketing, Retail Operations, Creative, PR, Events, Internal Graphics Agency, VM, Buying & Merchandising, and Internal Communications to achieve best results for marketing activity.
  • Work collaboratively with external Partners – insight into their comms plans, collaborate on partner approach
  • Provide insights for Senior Stakeholder review weekly
  • Responsible for analysing the effectiveness of all marketing activity whilst focusing on retention, brand awareness & consideration and footfall to store.
