My client, are an app-based company that grew rapidly to become the household name for on-demand laundry and dry cleaning in London. New customers were drawn by the combined ease of use in the apps, and the accuracy of the data the platform provides. In recent years my client has grown far beyond the capital, and offering the service in 100 towns and cities across the UK. The stage is now set for the global stage.

Overview of the role

Contract role for 6 months for a strong hands-on project marketer. In a first instance to project manage and execute tasks related to acquisition of another business to ensure a seamless transition. In a second instance to provide marketing relief to both brands during the transition, stepping in where necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management
  • Manage the project calendar for business acquisition, on behalf of the marketing team
  • Stakeholder management – changes/ dependencies/ timelines with marketing, tech, design, comms, both businesses
  • Primary day-to-day liaison between the app and new business being acquired
  • Weekly reports/ status updates
  • Marketing Integration Execution
  • Hands-on, standardising marketing activities between the two businesses. This includes
  • Budgeting/ formatting budgets
  • Reporting/ Analytics
  • Marketing platform integration and management incl. contract management
  • Customer Communication Management
  • Manage/ support customer communications plan, across all touchpoints
  • Work closely with internal teams on both sides, to ensure joined up messaging during transition
  • Marketing Relief
  • Marketing relief for both team, which might include social media posting, overseeing PPC campaigns, assisting with SEO/ web integrations, website management, managing OOH campaigns/ creative etc
  • Agency management – working with/ managing agency output

Required Experience

  • 4+ years managing large marketing and/or digital projects
  • 4+ years broad marketing experience, across multiple channels
  • 2+ years ecommerce (preferably Mobile Apps) experience
  • Website management/ publishing/ SEO understanding
  • Ability to work with multiple agencies and oversee creative
  • Experience with Google Analytics, WordPress, CRMs
  • Advanced excel and has handled budgets
  • Willingness to get stuck into all of marketing, project and admin tasks
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience working for a tech brand with mobile app
  • WordStream, SEMRush
  • App Store Optimisation (Paid and Organic)
  • PPC (social, search and display)
  • Experience onboarding Analytics and Attribution tools
  • French/ German languages welcome

Qualifications
● Degree in Marketing/ CIM qualification, or equivalent qualifications/ experience
