Role: Online Operations Manager
Location: Dublin
Day rate (DOE): €300 – €400
Purpose of the role:
This role is pivotal and will lead the efforts to manage stock and forecast across all areas of the online business covering, unit/orders/sales down to SKU level. From this the role will deliver forecasts and plans for our key partner groups of stock management, divisional sales teams, supply chain and contact centres
In particular, for stock management you will provide:
- Clarity on forecasting our sales forecast;
- Working with the divisional teams to make sure agreed availability and over/aged stock levels;
- Handle ageing stock levels and liaise with the promotions team to build solutions to clear;
- Work with the trading/merchandising teams to ensure products are merchandise relevant to stock levels;
- Ensure new products are available on time and EOL are removed from the website;
- Help build full (and extended range) range online;
- Manage stock for any pop ups or retail engagements my client runs.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will forecast models for sales/units/orders/ customer contacts;
- You will forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS);
- You will own the weekly stock report including stock level, aged stock, run-rate and week of stock;
- Own purchase order management (e.g. accessories, memory cards and 3rd party products);
- You will provide weekly forecast updates and review aligned to promotion plans;
- You will lead the STO (Stock Transfer Order) management
- Stock status monitoring (Stock-out and over-stock)
- You will process all new product registration requests alongside planning for warehouse pick & pack operations;
- Delivery performance review with carriers;
- You will follow up on delivery issues with the CS team (delay, failure, return and replacement) and analyse sell-out reporting (seasonality and promotion performance);
- You will work closely with the senior management team to manage and update stock and forecast.
Key Competencies/Characteristics:
- You will have an excellent understanding of supply chain procedures
- You will demonstrate strong analytical skills;
- You will have strong IT/systems use (SAP), really good Excel skills and preferably a deep understanding of demand planning;
- You will ideally have experience leading internal communications and working cross functionally to deliver results;
- You will have a collaborative approach and a willingness to learn;
- You will have great interpersonal skills, be a team player and have the ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity.
