My client is a iconic British retailer based in central London and they are looking for a Planning Manager to lead the marketing budget planning process and ensure that all marketing activities align with the business activity

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the line manager to lead the marketing budget planning processes for the marketing department. This will cover the year marketing plan and budget
• Ensure that best practices are carried out across the marketing function
• Work with the marketing programmes manager to make sure that there is alignment of the marketing plan and the marketing delivery
• Ensure that the marketing activity and business activity aligned and to appreciate and understand the impact of marketing activity
• Ensure that there is well established measures and processes that enable business to track, evaluate and continuously improve effectiveness.

To apply for this role you must:

• Have strong experience working in a marketing department
• Experience writing marketing plans and can establish best ways f practice
• Able to plan activity with a budget
• Have strong project management skills and experience
• Have strong commercial awareness
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Preferably have experience in retail (Clothing/Fashion/Home)
