THE COMPANY

My client is an on-demand cloud based financial and human capital management software vendor. Founded just over 10 years ago, they are a global business with over 30 offices internationally. They also believe heavily in their people and culture; where passion and customer focus are at the heart of everything they do.

They are now actively looking for an outstanding, outbound-orientated Product Marketing Specialist (or Evangelist, we like to call it), with the experience, creativity, drive and pedigree to help revolutionise the Cloud-based Enterprise Business Applications in the EMA region. This is a hands-on, multi-faced and dynamic role, that’s looking for someone that knows the ins and outs around accountancy based software, as well as the industry regulations that go with it!

THE ROLE

This role will drive the strategy and execution of the product marketing in their country and the broader EMEA region for the brand’s Financial Management solutions. The ideal candidate possesses excellent business acumen and technical savvy; a big picture vision, a strong execution capability and the drive to make that vision a reality. This candidate will excel in a dynamic, fast paced ever-evolving environment within a leading technology company. This person must have deep knowledge and expertise of the enterprise applications industry, financial management applications and how to market them in their country and the broader EMEA region.

You will be both the strategist and implementer of product positioning and go-to-market strategies to support the brand’s sales and marketing efforts. This person will work closely with senior marketing leadership and functional departments including Marketing, Product Strategy, Product Management, and Sales to proactively support the field and partner channels with effective positioning, marketing assets, product education, and competitive differentiation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure local and EMEA marketing fully leverages the great assets created by our corporate product marketing team or where gaps in content coverage are identified, localise or create new product collateral, including white papers, website content, case studies, data sheets and presentations to support the company’s outbound communication, demand generation, and sales efforts in EMEA
  • Work with local and EMEA marketing teams to ensure all marketing activities and communications are closely aligned with corporate product marketing messaging
  • Be a strong advocate & evangelist for the brand’s products and services in industry forums/events/conferences, Analyst Relation activities, etc.
  • Work with the sales & sales enablement teams to ensure the timely and effective delivery of financial management product and value proposition enablement to the sales team
  • Support strategic sales activities directly with the sales team, bringing your subject matter expertise, creativity and innovation to sales cycles
  • Support the education and training of partners on the positioning of their Financial Management solutions
  • Work closely with the customer marketing team to help shape customer presentations at internal and 3rd party events
  • Build strong relationships with the corporate product marketing and product strategy functions in US

Please ONLY apply if you possess the following:

  • Extensive experience of related product marketing and/or solution marketing experience within the European region; Financial Management expertise is a must, and some background in HCM applications desirable
  • Expertise and a proven track record successfully marketing business applications a must have; SaaS experience highly desirable
  • Experience building, driving and executing strategy across multiple product lines with a country focus against defined revenue goals
  • Experience building solid peer relationships in order to influence key stakeholders at executive management level across corporate, geo and region
  • Proven track record of successful product launches
