Project Manager

My client, a market leader within the Financial Services industry are on the hunt for a Project Manager to support their internal communications team, as well as senior stakeholders, to support on key initiatives within the programme of works and to assist and advise other internal project managers on the management of larger deliveries.

In this 12 month contract role you will coordinate, schedule and track progress and results of projects working independently and alongside a senior project manager.

Responsibilities

• Working with colleagues in the Internal Communications team as well as initiative owners on the main programme team
• Creating project plans
• Monitoring project progress
• Reporting project results
• Taking the lead on this delivery
• Running project progress meetings and maintaining momentum on delivery of tasks required to deliver the outcomes of the project
• Managing project RAID and escalating where appropriate

Skills / Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent is desirable and preferred.
• Ideally will hold a Project Management certification
• Background in project management experience
• Proven awareness of project management methodologies such as Agile and Prince2
• Understanding of Microsoft products and any experience of Service Now is desired
• Comfortable working in a fast moving delivery focused function
