Retail Vertical Marketing Manager – Surrey – up to 60K plus £5K C/A & Bonus


My client is one of the European market leaders in the technology software, where they offer a number of propositions around printing solutions. With their HQ based in Surrey, their team is constantly growing, helping the brand go from strength to strength.

Currently, they are looking for a Retail Vertical Marketing Manager of the EMEA region.


Reporting to the EMEA Vertical Propositions General Manager, they are now looking for a senior B2B marketer from a technology industry background, who understands the retail vertical well and has a business development approach to their campaigns.

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a European Retail Strategy to develop the business in the targeted vertical segments across Europe. This responsibility will include the identification of key market opportunities, key players into the ecosystem, and customer segments leveraging current product, service and solutions capabilities.

You will also identify and build relationships with key System Integrators, VARS and Software Solution Providers (or other suppliers) focused on target print market retail segment by country.

In addition, you will build brand value proposition for identified target customers.

Responsible to deliver European/International retail marketing ground plan (to feed Sales plan/team), by developing European/International local sales expertise, ensuring sales execution within local target market segments.

Ensure communication and adoption of Retail/ Healthcare Value Proposition by sales teams across EMEA.

Responsibility for industry marketing, including events, PR and marketing promotional activities.

Please ONLY apply if you possess the following:

At least 5 years vertical expertise and IT solutions & services marketing with a strong affinity to the retail vertical.

  • Bringing in deep knowledge of the mechanics and nuances of each industry
  • Knowledge of how to identify and leverage new business opportunities
  • Creating a stronger ability to identify new business opportunities within target verticals
  • Acquisition of new contacts and network within target verticals and ecosystems
  • Acquisition of specific market expertise to complement product and solutions knowledge
  • Strong Salesforce experience required
  • Have experience of working within digital marketing areas such as; PPC, SEO & social selling
  • Requires strong demand generation experience
