Senior Channel Marketing Manager

My client is looking for a Senior Channel Marketing Manager to join the mobile team which is responsible for some of their most innovative tech products.

This role presents an opportunity to be part of an exciting business development area within my client. The ‘Mobile Enhancement & IoT’ team will take business’s vast capability and market leadership in this area to the next level. Working closely with the Brand and Product teams this includes GTM planning and execution of new product launches, life cycle management and budget ownership.

This role is not account specific but must work directly with the Heads of Channel Marketing and Head of Mobile Enhancement & IoT Team to ensure the growth targets are met for this exciting development area.

The Day to Day

Using consumer insight, and working with Product Management and Market Intelligence Teams, develop and implement long-term category marketing strategy that can be translated into short & medium term actionable plans for the CMM’s and commercial teams to implement.

Project-manage key growth opportunities from concept through to execution in an omni-channel environment. Identify key KPI’s and success metrics to deliver excellent execution and innovation within each category. Working with a broad cross-functional team this role will be accountable for the delivery of each project.

Understand key growth accounts and the opportunities that exist in each one. Develop prosperous relationships at all levels in the account with the purpose of planning and implementing growth plans that fulfil the long-term strategy in a timely, creative way.

Take learning’s and insight from the shopper excellence team to ensure these opportunities are delivering the optimal journey for the customer.

Anticipate the competitive forces both in the market and channels, and plan for such events to limit the potential negative effect within the Mobile Enhancement categories.

Understand how our smart-phone base communications can support our growth strategies and develop a plan to utilise this more effectively. Set KPI’s and run trials to drive efficiency and deliver an effective plan for execution.

Working with all relevant teams Brand, Digital, HQ and EO Marketing – initiate and manage improved content production for these categories.

Identify and update best practice for each category and channel. Use this best-practice to build strong relationships and drive performance improvement to the long-term strategy and goals through credible sharing of data and insight.

As part of each quarterly road-map – develop a robust creative brief for brand and / or creative agencies to ensure there is impactful and market-leading assets to be executed by CM, Digital and Retail teams.
