Senior Scientific Copywriter/Editor

Salt have partnered with a Global Client in the FMCG sector as they are on the hunt for a Scientific Copywriter/Editor. You will be writing, editing and reviewing engagement content for the clients scientific engagement team.

This will be an ASAP starting, 6 month contract, and Outside IR35.

Your mission

– Writing, editing and reviewing engagement content for the scientific engagement team.
– Preparing engaging presentation and providing support to the scientific engagement team.
– Managing other visual materials to explain complex data.
– Working with key scientists and researchers within their science and innovation division.
– Explaining detailed research to the wider content creation team.
– Accuracy checking for the wider content creation team.

Your profile

– An inquisitive and scientific mind
– At least 3 years’ experience telling scientific stories for a consumer audience
– Experience reading and disseminating detailed research papers for consumers
– Experience working within a scientific organization or science journal
– Journalistic training or similar
– Optional: experience designing websites and creating webpages; graphics/design skills; Scientific qualifications to degree level or equivalent

Key details:

• £400 – £500 per day OUTSIDE IR35
• Start:ASAP
• Duration: 6 months
• Full time hybrid working – 2 days in the office in central London
