Strategic Marketing Communications Manager

Hampshire Contract / 4 Months £275 - £450 per day

I am currently recruiting for a world leader in its sector of B2B products and services with revenues of more than $20 billion. My client is offering a 4 month contract for a Strategic Marketing Communications Manager role to join their team on-site on an interim position.

Position Summary:

To leverage the brand to a position as leader in it’s sector through innovative new product launches and more relevant applications of current solutions, creating a desire for their products among their customers. In addition you will balance the needs of traditional communication channels with focused strategic use of inbound marketing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive transition from traditional communication techniques towards inbound marketing applications with appropriate monitoring and tracking
  • Development of the annual Strategic Communication Operating plan and budget aligned to the global Marketing operating plan
  • Generation & coordination of Divisional and Corporate communication priorities, such as, PR events and press releases and internal communications
  • Management & coordination of key agency partners ensuring their priorities are clear and that Marketing teams work within set frameworks. This will include: Media schedules; Editorial positioning; Sales Force tools
  • Ensure marketing communications operating spend is managed within budgets with comprehensive tracking & monitoring in place
  • Implement process & systems to ensure all external communications are produced according to branding guidelines at a regional and global level
  • Drive internal awareness of marketing activity through the management of the marketing site & internal awareness campaigns for staff across sites
  • Management & coordination of Global trade shows ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goals
