Head of Marketing (SaaS)

Head of Marketing – £70-100K – Berkshire

THE COMPANY

Our client is a true UK tech start-up with their analytics dashboard product for enterprise. Privately owned and around since 2011, they are growing fast and adding to their 40 plus strong workforce.

As their story goes from strength to strength, they are now looking for B2B SaaS marketer (with 7-8 years marketing experience), who will report to the COO and leading/growing a team of 4. This is the perfect step up for someone with the right background.

Main Responsibilities

· Setting Marketing strategy to achieve company objectives

· Planning and budget setting

· Branding, positioning and messaging for external communications

· Designing, creating and executing on campaigns

· Managing, building and retaining a team

· Reporting on results & driving improvements

What background will you come from?

· An experienced leader of a marketing department or a digital marketing team (5 years + at senior level)

· Achieved success in marketing software products or SaaS in a B2B environment

· Passionate about contributing to the high-level business strategy and creating brands

· Able to set marketing goals & create campaigns that will deliver the overall business objectives

· Proven ability to execute in a variety of marketing activities (e.g. events, digital, channel)

· Passionate about data-driven & analytical marketing with a creative twist

· Confident in appointing and getting value from third party agencies to supplement in-house capabilities

Skills and requirements

· Educated to degree level

· Marketing qualifications – e.g. CIMA, IDM – would be great but are not essential

· Experience of deploying and using HubSpot and/or Salesforce an advantage

· Management and budget ownership experience.
