THE ROLE
This is a commercial strategy role sitting within Marketing Strategy. It is a team of three that works very closely with the CMO, and other senior managers up to and including the CEO.
The Marketing department is a key driver of the brand’s business and operates both globally and locally. The Marketing Strategy team has a key influencing role across all elements of the team, including planning, budgets, future vision and thought leadership.
This is a critical influencer role with a wide-ranging remit and a very senior stakeholder group. It is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career in a business that is growing and investing for the future.

The successful candidate is likely to have most or all of the following:
· A logical and systematic approach to solving analytical tasks
· An understanding of marketing strategy and theory (e.g., classical marketing, value proposition, segmentation with either a large corporate background or exposure at least
· Confidence to make evidence-based recommendations to senior management
· Willingness to edit large volumes of information to present only the key elements to senior management (it is not always obvious which elements are “key”)
· Ability to debate in a constructive way with peers and senior management
· Very strong communication and presentation skills
· An ability to work independently
· 5-7 years’ experience in strategy or agency is an advantage
