Client Director

Greater London Permanent £100000 - £950000 per annum + bonus

Overview

Are you an experienced Client Director with a strong understanding of digital product design? Do you have experience growing and handling complex, multi-million pound accounts in the digital space? Have you worked on large scale product builds either as a client lead, or previously as a product Manager? Are you passionate about managing teams and growing client relationships? My client is looking for a Client Director to take complete ownership of accountability for the client portfolio, deepening and directing the overarching client relationship.The successful candidate will facilitate the link between all stakeholders and maximise opportunities. By partnering with the client you will ensure client excellence and governance across the collaborative sets, and then take full accountability for the overall direction of the client interaction/programme.

What you’ll be doing:

Business Development

  • Play an active role in business development, preparing proposals and participating in sales presentations
  • Identify ways in which this company can support the client in the achievement of its business and communications goals
  • Achieving clear revenue results through growth targets
  • Accountability for quota and selling ideas or solutions to clients

Client Leadership

  • Determine how best to achieve client’s goals through strategic programs
  • Build deep client relationships and become a critical business partner
  • Act as a point of contact for multiple client relationships
  • Work with Client Strategist to provide clear goal setting and growth management.
  • Be accountable for setting up and maintaining the client governance and cadence
  • Managing C suite stakeholders internally and on the client side

Product as a service

  • Work closely with the internal and client product teams, and support changes required, and provide ideas and business lead strategies that ensure long term results.
  • Supporting and advocating best practice product lifecycle methodology
  • Helping translate the client requirements and external trends in to product strategy

Identified Opportunities

  • Understands the latest business and consumer insights and leverages new opportunities and change
  • Entrepreneurial thinker, proactively generates and presents new ideas
  • Use of data validate logic

Organisation Transformation / Business Design

  • Apply change management methodologies
  • Communication and application of organisational design practices
  • Work alongside the Product Director, to determine the best system, talent and organisational structures, that support our clients growth and efficiencies

Communication

  • Managing and leading all senior client communication
  • Articulate complex conceptual ideas in clear compelling ways and present to stakeholders
  • Give constructive feedback to all stakeholders
  • Adept at navigating and managing C-Suite stakeholders and be a strong negotiator

Leadership

  • Thought leadership and solution focussed
  • Set the direction for the team and inspire fresh thinking throughout the team using best practice and industry experience
  • Management of internal team, mentoring and coaching of the team

Required Knowledge

  • Knowledge across customer development, UX/UI design & Product Management
  • Conversion optimisation
  • Understanding of consumer insight and metrics and how to apply them
  • Appreciate and drive human centered product design
  • Experience overseeing, running and delivering digital products
  • Be an evangelist for technology and its influence on product

Technical Abilities

  • Superior presentation skills
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes
  • Organisational design
  • Proficiency with MS office, keynote, google apps suite

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years experience of working within a digital, product or consultancy space
  • Experience overseeing product builds/accounts or previously worked as a product manager
  • A proven track record of working with creative people on bespoke initiatives
  • Experience in and a deep understanding of digital product development systems and processes
  • A proven track record managing and growing digital accounts with accountability for a sole quota of over £2million
  • A proven track record of growing multi-million pound accounts over 12-18 months
  • Experience on engagements and accounts over 12 months
