Head of Digital Data & Insight – Responsibilities
- Sets and drives the Digital Data & Insight direction and strategy across the organisation.
- Identifies and overseas execution of Digital data sources including defining appropriate data model.
- Establishes Digital Data & Insight best practice and standards.
- Overseas creation of Digital reports and actionable insight for use of driving the Digital performance KPI’s and metrics.
- Evangelises use of Digital Data & Insight across the organisation, with specific support for the Digital Performance team, to drive use of data and thinking in every day activity.
- Broader collaboration with data community to drive joined up and cross channel insight, specifically Data Science. Also Technology teams to implement best engineering solutions and embed into agile teams, specifically Digital Delivery.
- Develop and lead the Digital Data & Insight team and embed standard working practices.
- Own and manage budget covering tools, software and third party costs
- Champion the agile frameworks (Scrum and Kanban) within the team, ensure that Agile principles are practised by peers and understood by stakeholders.
Head of Digital Data & Insight – Requirements
- 10+ years in a similar position
- Degree qualification in computer science/ engineering/ similar
- Experience analysing data, interpreting results and working with senior stakeholders to create strategic decisions
- People management experience
- Technical understanding and how to relay to the business
- Background in a regulated industry (FS/ Retail/ Pharmaceuticals/ Telco etc) is desirable but not essential
- Agile experience
- Excellent presentation, stakeholder and communication skills
