THE COMPANY
My client is one of the leaders within the global consumer service industry. With some of the best consumer tech available on the market, it’s no wonder that this particular business arm is going from strength to strength, selling their service through various retail partners.

THE ROLE
As the brand builds its presence both internationally and within the Italian marketing, they seek to build on their position and capabilities and expect to invest hundreds of millions of pounds of operating costs and capital expenditure in this area between now and 2020, in not only capacity, but capability. They now are looking for a consumer partnership led senior marketer who can own the GTM (go to market) strategy and help drive the commercial value of the product through retails relationships.

  • You will manage and deliver the brand and marketing presence in European territories as the company expands its footprint as a multi-national smart home services company
  • Lead immediate rollout and partner marketing with local partners and also their own direct to consumer activity
  • Support delivery of commercial strategies in European territories, developing and executing marketing plans across all channels with key focus on digital.

The Person
You’ll be a passionate senior marketer, with the attitude to deliver in a fast paced, start-up type environment. A doer who thinks on their feet.

  • At least 10 years Consumer Marketing Experience within a retail or working closely with retail partners
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Self-starter who can be responsible and manage with autonomy day to day
  • Broad skillset across marketing, advertising, brand and digital, creative production, media planning, PR planning and agency management experience
  • Partnership marketing experience with strategic distribution partners
  • POS and retail experience, managing retail partners and their respective timelines, demands and constraints
  • Brand guardianship; copywriting skills advantageous
  • International marketing experience essential, in particular having worked previously in European territories
  • Extensive experience of implementation and ongoing performance management/optimisation of multichannel digital activity across PPC, Display, Affiliates, Online Video, Paid Social & SEO.
  • Significant experience of web, e-commerce MI and leading reporting standards
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies and best practice, plus 3rd party agency management.
  • Significant first-hand experience in strategic planning and implementation of content and social media campaigns.
