Senior Digital Channels Manager – Global Bank – Jersey – £60K

The Company and Role

My client is a global bank whose focus is to get to provide their customers with a seamless experience through digital innovation.
As a Senior Digital Channel Manager you will lead the definition and development of the Digital Channels (Online, Mobile, future platforms and devices) for both the global Expat and the local Channel Islands and Isle of Man customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will be accountable for the successful launch of digital journeys in to market, leading delivery on a range of initiatives across the online platforms, supporting the business and customers with implementation
  • Helping shape and drive the digital channel strategy to acquire new to bank customers and increase digital product sales and engagement.
  • Lead the team of Digital Channel Managers on a range of initiatives
  • Ensuring all digital change adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Setting and monitoring key channel performance indicators (digital engagement, activity and customer satisfaction) and driving change to improve these
  • Defining and management of roadmaps for the digital channels from ideation through to implementation. Accountable for setting clear Channel priorities and collaborating closely with local, regional and global teams to drive implementation and operationalization
  • Introducing new ways of working and challenging the status quo to ensure we are operating collaboratively, dynamically and efficiently

Key competencies and experience:

  • Energetic, positive attitude, team player with a go-getter attitude
  • Experience working in a Digital environment, preferably using Agile methodology
  • Proactively look for innovative ways to change the approach in to market via digital, improve customer service and drive digital acquisition
  • Proven digital skills with demonstrable success in creating strategic action grounded on external and internal data and insights, and building execution capability
  • Leadership experience in customer focused organizations, in disciplines such as digital, marketing or change management skills motivating and inspiring others to excel
  • A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
  • A flexible and adaptable management style with experience of developing yourself and others
  • Availability to undertake the travel required for this role, i.e. occasional travel to meetings and workshops in the UK and beyond
  • Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Retail Banking products is desirable but not essential
  • Customer focused, passion for making sure we deliver the best experience online every time
