Event Account Manager – Events Platform – London

The Company

Currently in the process of securing series A funding, an innovative solution changing the way events are run in the UK, with the ambition of growing globally over the next few years.

A UK founded Start-Up with an office of 14 based in the heart of London, who build and deliver products that improve overall event experience whilst able to capture valuable data and insights in order to not only objectively quantify event ROI but also able to produce key action points on how to improve existing and future events. Wonderfully useful it seems for major brands such as Google, Deloitte and Britvic!

The Role

You will be responsible for end-to-end solution delivery from lead the planning, implementation and roll out of client projects for mid-market to enterprise brands. You will also be building rapport with clients up to c-level in order ensure customers have an exceptional overall experience with the platform.

Primarily you will be owning the successful delivery of projects, working closely with project assistants and product developers to facilitate the pre-event requirements outlined at the beginning of each project by the client.

  • Being the main point of contact for client requirements and leading those communications.
  • Creating and coordinating project timelines.
  • Delivering projects as per contracted deliverables.
  • Implementation of product set-up, working alongside developers to deliver required data sets.
  • Managing project budgets and resource allocations to meet target GPM.
  • Becoming a product knowledge expert to provide a great customer experience.
  • Integrating on-site event delivery considerations within project plans.
  • Coordinating client training and onboarding.
  • Reconciling projects and producing internal budget reports.

The Candidate

The successful Events Account Manager will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Great knowledge of technology (preferably SaaS, Mobile or Apps) to lead conversations with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of managing projects and running them to high standards and expectations.
  • Strong structure and organistation skills to handle client demands and facilitate requirements in short time periods.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong communication, presentation and time management skills.
  • Exceptional customer experience management and customer service skills.
  • Experience handling difficult customers or situations and demonstrating resolutions.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
