Key Account Manager – Cyber Security – Germany

The company has now made a significant strategic investment in the DACH region with plans to grow the local team throughout 2020.
The Role
Joining the team at an early stage in their growth in the DACH region, this will be a ‘home office’ role and you will ideally be located either close to Cologne or Munich. Working closely with an experienced team as an Account Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Key account management: responsible for expanding the relationship in an enterprise customer base through cross-sell and up-sell of products and services
- Immerse yourself in the company’s sales processes, quickly getting to grips with known sales methodologies to understand the objectives and needs of customers and then develop solutions through the company’s offerings.
- Ensure that revenue targets are met and over-achieved
- Develop an expert knowledge of the security platform to be able to confidently lead presentations with customers
- Research and understand the market including competitor analysis
- Maintain detailed records in CRM and your sales pipeline to develop strong forecasting capability
About You
The successful Key Account Manager will most likely bring the following skills and experience:
- Experience achieving sales targets in a revenue generation account manager or software sales role such as Account Executive, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, Key Account Manager or similar
- We welcome applications from candidates with experience selling SaaS solutions in any industries who now have an interest or desire to work in cyber security
- A passion for problem solving and constantly improving commercial knowledge
- Happy to work independently whilst also collaborating with colleagues in other locations
- Good technical understanding and excellent presentation skills: you are excited by the growth opportunities in the following industries: network security; endpoint security; application security; security operations; incident response; threat intelligence; threat protection; identity management; fraud prevention
