Operations Specialist

A FinTech global payments platform is seeking exceptional Operations Specialists to join their new offices in Amsterdam.

The role sits within the Service Delivery team, which ensures that clients receive the best possible service – you will be responsible for monitoring payments and helping manage queries/complaints.

The role

• Deliver service to our customers
• Process and monitor all payments
• Process incoming funds
• Identify & escalate issues with the Customer Success, Relationship Management and/or Compliance teams to ensure a high level of service is provided at all times
• Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints
• Troubleshoot technical / operational issues
• Maintain sound knowledge of internal systems / processes and a solid understanding of the payments / FX market

The ideal candidate

• Experienced in service delivery (processing, support, troubleshooting) in international payments. This could be within a bank, FX payments company or broker, ideally involving high volume daily payments processing.
• Recent graduate in maths, finance, accounting or a related field
• Interested in the FinTech industry with some insight into how across border payments could operate. Bonus points for knowledge of regulatory requirements such as AML (Anti Money Laundering).
• Meticulous and thorough approach
• High level of organisation with an ability to cope under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent teamwork and comfort working in a startup environment.
