Relationship Manager

Role Purpose

I have an new and exciting position at one of my long-standing reputable payment clients, a global payments acquirer. This time, we’re looking for an Account or Relationship manager to be responsible for maintaining a Benelux portfolio of Tier 1 & 2 customers. As a world leader in the payments space, we’re searching for a determined individual to continue the successes in the region. You will ultimately be responsible for delivering set targets and objectives on a territory bases in the Benelux, in designed vertical markets. Ongoing training and development is expected as part of the role as well as professional development of the individuals as part of a career development plan.

Requirements

  • Strong Relationship Management skills
  • A proven track record of winning complex contracts with national and international global clients within the context of payments
  • A proven ability to develop profitable existing relationships in a consultative manner by building trust and loyalty from customers
  • Coordinate the identification, targeting and account planning opportunities within the assigned portfolio of accounts
  • Have the ability to manage international and external stakeholder expectations regarding opportunity delivery
  • Have excellent communication skills, as well as a highly professional approach
  • Experience of working at C-level and global expertise
  • Have strong understanding of payments markets, as well as conducting competitor analysis
  • A track record of being able to work autonomously, being able to manage a sales portfolio as well as being able to report back internally to the business

  • Expert level of knowledge of customer experience and sales strategies. Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • A track record of working autonomously
  • A strong networker
  • An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Able to work both as part of a team and individually
  • Have a high level of client relationship skills, as well as being able to cross sell business opportunities
  • A target of portfolio of growth of 15% on annual basis
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French
