Sales Development Representative

Our client are a Financial Technology business seeking a self-motivated Sales Development Representative to provide assistance and support to a growing sales team based in London. Their innovative payments technology allows merchants and ecommerce businesses to take payments via terminals and online.

The business has been operating since 2000 in Greece, and in the past year they have opened the London sales office in beautiful modern offices in the heart of Piccadilly. The offices are just a short walk from Buckingham Palace and Green Park for lunch time strolls.

The Sales Development Representative will work alongside the Sales Director/Country Manager and 4-5 Business Development Managers. The role will be a split between administrative sales support and outbound sales.

The business are going for round of funding in March 2019 to help fund their international expansion in the UK. Joining the team now could be pivotal in the growth of the team and the individual’s own self development with opportunities for progression.

Your key responsibilities:

• Answering inbound calls and being the voice of the London office
• Qualifying incoming leads and setting appointments for the Business Development Managers
• General administrative tasks to support the sales team
• Providing quotes
• Maintain customer records in the CRM system and pull reports for weekly sales meetings
• Providing reporting to the Country Manager on sales pipelines

Your profile:

• 6 months – 2 years outbound sales experience (e.g. telesales, estate agency etc.)
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Experience of handling data or using spreadsheets
• Great communication skills to liaise with other departments
• Comfortable with outbound calling and dealing with customer enquiries
• A positive attitude and flexibility in your approach to work
