Key Account Manager – SaaS Platform – London

The Company:

A UK-based high-growth SaaS business with a global presence who are continuing to grow. Their customer base is corporate including professional services, legal and consultancy organisations who are all going undergoing significant digital transformation. Many bright minds within this company makes for a unique culture of inquisitive and driven individuals who are building an exciting and progressive technology business!

The Role:

Thanks to continued growth and success, a new opening has arisen for an Account Manager to join the team in a lead role, responsible for a portfolio of key accounts. The account management team are commercially driven with primary responsibility for maximising customer revenues through up-sell and cross-sell.

Key tasks will include:

  • Nurture, expand key relationships and be accountable for your portfolio and associated revenue numbers
  • Proactively grow your portfolio through identifying and pursuing cross-sell & up-sell opportunities
  • Act as a strategic partner to understand the objectives and needs of customers and then develop solutions through the company’s offerings
  • Develop an expert knowledge of the SaaS platform
  • Understand and communicate market opportunities, needs and customer feedback to cross-functional teams
  • Maintain detailed records in CRM and your sales pipeline and report upwards as appropriate

Your Profile:

The successful Manager of Account Management will naturally have a proven aptitude for relationship management and high performance cultures and will most likely bring the following skills/experience:

  • Previous experience in a SaaS technology business in a similar commercial role such as Account Manager, Account Director, Partner Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Exec or similar
  • Experience of marketing technology or digital transformation would be beneficial such: Marketing Automation, Digital Marketing, Email Marketing, Web Analytics, e-Commerce, Content Management or similar
  • Experience working for a SaaS technology business or technology organisation with a customer base of SMB/SME & mid-market customers would be beneficial
  • A passion for problem solving and constantly improving sales knowledge
  • Happy to work independently at times as well as within a highly collaborative team environment
  • Good technical understanding and excellent presentation skills
  • You are excited by the opportunity to join an ambitious team
