The Role

Having undergone significant growth in their global customer base, this is a newly created opportunity for a SaaS Renewals Leader to join the team. Responsible for an international team, the VP Renewals will partner with sales and customer success to drive renewals and retention across a large number of mid-market and enterprise customers. This is a commercial leadership role where key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach and develop a core team of Renewal Managers to secure renewals and close up-sell opportunities across multiple regions
  • Play a hands-on tactical role in driving successful renewals with both customers and partners in partnership with Sales and Customer Success
  • Oversee the renewal strategy and operations, owning and resolving service delivery, support or account issues impacting the renewal
  • Forecasting and delivering against substantial retention targets to achieve the assigned booking targets
  • Develop and grow a new renewals function within the business: lead improvements in tools and processes

About You

The VP Renewals will most likely bring the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a management or team lead capacity focused on renewals, retention, customer success, sales, account management or equivalent customer facing roles
  • Comfort negotiating complex SaaS agreements; at ease speaking with executives at enterprise customers
  • Demonstrated quota-carrying experience in SaaS with direct responsibility for consistently achieving a team’s revenue targets
  • Shows technical aptitude for enterprise software solutions combined with excellent business acumen and experience in contracts and pricing
  • An effective team-player: you can implement new ideas and gain buy-in from your colleagues across the business
  • Energetic and highly-motivated personality with a strong desire to work in a dynamic tech start-up environment
