Account Executive DACH – Cyber Security – Home Office

The Company

An exciting cyber security platform whose cyber defence solutions are already used by thousands of businesses worldwide. By enabling organisations to find threats and weaknesses in their network, the company has now made a significant strategic investment in the DACH region.

The Role

Joining the team at an early stage in their growth, this will be a ‘home-based’ role where you will have the autonomy to work across the whole DACH region. Working closely with an experienced team in a ‘hunter’ capacity, key responsibilities will include:

  • Hunting: individually prospect mid-market and enterprise organisations running the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Farming and key account management: when a customer signs you will also be responsible for expanding the relationship through cross-sell and up-sell of products and services
  • Immerse yourself in the company’s sales processes, quickly getting to grips with known sales methodologies to understand the objectives and needs of customers and then develop solutions through the company’s offerings.
  • Ensure that revenue targets are met and over-achieved
  • Develop an expert knowledge of the cyber security platform to be able to confidently lead presentations with customers
  • Research and understand the market including competitor analysis
  • Maintain detailed records in CRM and your sales pipeline to develop strong forecasting capability

About You

The successful Account Executive (Sales Manager) will most likely bring the following skills and experience:

  • Experience achieving sales targets in a new business software sales role such as Account Executive, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, Key Account Manager or similar
  • We welcome applications from candidates with experience selling SaaS solutions in any industries who now have an interest or desire to work in cyber security
  • A passion for problem solving and constantly improving sales knowledge
  • Happy to work independently whilst also collaborating with colleagues in other locations
  • Good technical understanding and excellent presentation skills: you are excited by the growth opportunities in the following industries: network security; endpoint security; application security; security operations; incident response; threat intelligence; threat protection; identity management; fraud prevention
