A truly unique opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join this marketing technology business as their first man on the ground.

My client is an American MarTech company who has created a success story in New York and is now ready to replicate that here in the UK … that’s where you come in.

You’ll receive relevant training and the opportunity to meet the team in NY but this would suit a commercially aware business development professional who is comfortable in a strategic sales environment.

This is a genuine chance for someone to join a major player in the MarTech landscape and fast track into a senior role.

Competencies

  • Experience in a similar role for SaaS platform: Sales Development Representative, Inside Sales, Account Development, Market Development, Business Development Rep.
  • Comfortable with attending sales meetings with the VP of sales and contributing to the full sales cycle.
  • Research target companies online to pre-qualify as sales opportunities
  • Grow out the database on the basis of the target accounts that you want to secure.
  • Ability to assist with RFP’s and the tender process.
  • Demonstrate the value propositions of our products and services
  • Manage a high volume of leads in Salesforce.com to accurately and efficiently process all opportunities
  • Excel at qualifying each opportunity properly to ensure the right level of follow through and commitment
  • Schedule deep dive discovery calls for the sales team
  • Follow up on various marketing campaigns and events with the goal of sourcing qualified opportunities
