Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a super-growth FinTech payments acquirer backed by €15m in funding to grow out their presence in the Netherlands market. You will be joining as one of the first hires into the Netherlands with amazing opportunity for growth.

The business was founded in 2000’s in Greece and provide payment services including business accounts, corporate expense management, eCommerce payment gateway solutions and much more. This is an exciting stage of growth within Europe; they’ve recently opened offices in London, Amsterdam, Belgium, France, Romania, Cyprus and further expansion planned throughout Europe.

The Sales Representative will be reporting into the Country Manager tasked with sourcing new business opportunities, meeting with prospective clients (retailers, eCommerce businesses, restaurants) and closing business. Our client is due to undergo a further significant round of funding in 2019 in £m’s to drive their international expansion.

• Actively seek out new sales opportunities in the field through cold calling and networking

• Prepare presentations and solutions to prospective clients at meetings
• Prepare proposals and negotiate/close deals
• Maintain relationships with clients by providing support

What they’re looking for:

• 2 years of proven experience as a sales representative or relevant role
• Previous experience in the banking sector and Card Terminals is a great plus
• Native speaker in Dutch and professional English

• A results-driven approach and strong self-drive, along with the ability to work under pressure to achieve sales targets
• Valid driving license
