A FinTech global payments platform are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in outstanding offices in the City. Starting out in 2012, they have since grown to 150 people with global expansion to New York and European growth on the horizon for 2019.

Their innovation has attracted $61m in investment from big venture capital firms and they’ve also picked up a number of awards and shortlists over the years, including Best Company to Work for in 2017.

The role as a Business Development Manager will ultimately involve acquiring new clients and partners to integrate their foreign exchange technology into, targeting challenger banks and financial institutions.

The role:

  • Following up on leads generated from the sales development team
  • Manage the sales process from demand generation and creation to close
  • Work with marketing teams closely to identify target markets
  • Negotiate and present to clients the payments solution
  • Work with implementation team to on-board new customers
  • Report sales pipeline and metrics via Salesforce
  • Liaise with account management team for smooth transition post sale

Experience required:

  • 5+ years experience in a SaaS technology sale role
  • Language skills and fluency in German, Spanish or French
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets in new business development
  • Natural network with outstanding relationship building skills
  • Experience from Payments, FX and enterprise or technology sales
